- Thank you for stopping by my website showing my handcarved wooden figurines today. May my guardian angel watch over you, like

me. My name is Linda and I've been carving wood for six years. I started carving because of a knee injury and I caught the wood carving bug along with it. I carve many different figurines but enjoy doing faces showing particular expression and feelings the most.
The gifts I carve are of wooden Santas, Nuns, Amish People, Uncle Sams, Angels and people of all colors, shapes and sizes. My wooden carvings are done from many different types of wood but I still choose to use my pocketknife to carve with, I do use a few gouges for those hard to get places.
My old wooden rocking chair here on the porch in Montana and I enjoy every minute of carving and watching the chips fall and the carvings take shape. I finish my handcarved figurines with acrylic paints and stains. Some I choose to leave with the "natural" wood grain look to let the grains in the wood show through. All of my carvings you see here are very precious to me. Some are for sale and some I wish to keep.
